The first social media reactions for The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special have surfaced, and they are quite broadly positive. The special is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s second Marvel Studios Special Presentation for Disney+, following the monster-themed Werewolf by Night, which starred Gael García Bernal as a werewolf on a mission for a Halloween-themed adventure. The Guardians special will bridge the gap between the Guardians’ previous outings in Avengers: Endgame and Thor: Love and Thunder and their upcoming solo film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, due in theaters on May 5, 2023.
